I dedicate this post to loved ones of this sweet couple that would be happy to remember the little things about this day.
Here are a few fun family moments, a couple details from the reception, and a handful of candid shots from throughout the big day.
(I love candid shots. I always have. I love the way it helps you remember little things about the day in a way that you can really feel what was going on as well as see it.)
Probably the first dozen shots or so as they came out of the temple Callin was just staring at his bride. It was so sweet.
I love how uninhibited children are. They run up and give hugs much more quickly than any parent or grandparent would.
It makes for precious memories, for sure!

So in love.
I love to see families come together the way they do for a wedding. There is nothing more special than family.
A couple little details from the day...
... a chance to pause for a moment, just the two of them.
...the gorgeous cake that was made by the bride's brother-in-law. He mentioned how he thought it would be fun to try and make a wedding cake then asked if he could try his hand at it for their wedding. Sure enough, he pulled it off.
He's definitely a handy guy to have around.

...and they had an ice cream sundae bar for refreshments.
So fun and playful, just like the bride and groom. It was perfect for the hot June day too.
I remember being the bride standing in the receiving line, greeting those who were coming to congratulate us. It can make for a long evening, but its a small price to pay to say thank you and pick up a few heartfelt compliments.
I hope little treasures like these shots will hopefully keep it a nice memory.
Here are some priceless moments... which will be fun to look back on years from now and remember when the little ones were actually little and what it took to keep them happy during that long party.
And perhaps my favorite shot of the night, right as the bride and groom were leaving.
He grabbed the one gift they just couldn't wait to open. ;)

Thank heavens for good friends...
