Wood family :: Hurricane, UT Family Session

I was so pleased when my friend Alexis wanted to fit in a family session during her holiday visit home. We kept it pretty simple... we had small kiddos out in the chill of January... but I think it made the photos even more special.  It was all about their cute family at this stage and what's better than that?

Big brother was something else... he's a typical little boy... full of his own ideas and a silly sense of humor.  We became best buds after just a few minutes.  Baby took a little while to win over but the laughs we got out of him made my whole day!!  That was just icing on the cake though because I got  to have stylish, beautiful people in front of my camera which is always a pleasure.  I love my job.

Aren't these guys just the most darling family?!
Their session is headed to the post office today... enjoy, Alexis!!

Baby Frankie :: Hurricane, UT Newborn Session

This infant session was such an honor to do.  Little Frankie was born 10 weeks early and I fell in love with her tiny little spirit from the first snapshot her proud Grandma showed me.  She's a sweet little fighter that had me so in love.  We ended up doing this session close to the time she was actually due.  She was the very best baby I've ever photographed and I felt even more blessed when the weather turned yucky for about two weeks straight right after her session.  It would have broken my heart to not have done our little session in the most fabulous garden in town!  (Gardens are my favorite!!!)  And yes... these were taken during the summer NOT during this uncharacteristic snowy winter we've had.  Frankie has my heart and I'm sure I'll keep pretending we're great friends until she's grown and she will find me to be quite an odd stranger.  Haha.

I couldn't decide if I loved a few of the black and whites better than the color photographs, so just enjoy them all.  I sure did.

I love that Lindsey had her darling Grandma come join us for a moment to get a few priceless shots of Great-Grandma & Angel Baby Frankie.
I am just in love with this image.

It was a pleasure to meet you, Frankie.  I will forever admire you and your strong parents for your journey here to earth.  Bless you, child.

Ethan :: Leeds, UT Senior Session

I work with the 16-18 year olds girls at church and they all know this fellow, Ethan.  I have heard more than one of them refer to him as "the nicest kid ever" or tell me how totally cool he is.  I also know him as a cousin, and I would agree with the girls' opinions.  He's totally awesome and I love whenever he is around.  I can't believe he's all grown up like this, though.  Enjoy this mini session and look forward to seeing him again in the spring.

Stratton Kids :: Leeds, UT Family Session

On Thanksgiving morning I met these goofy kids for a quick sibling session and it was so great.  We tacked a mini senior session onto it too which I will blog a little later.  I love these guys so much and was so glad to snap a few pictures of them.
Enjoy!

Madison had a "special friend" that was tagging along so we snapped a quick one of them together.  Aren't they the cutest?!

Spring Newborn Sessions

I had a few newborn shoots all around the same time, so I was busy busy.  I posted some of these to Facebook, but realized I never shared them here.  So I'll have you meet Baby W, The Twins, and Baby J.  The two boys are cousins and will be forever lucky to be so close in age.  The Twins were the tiniest babies I had ever held and sweet as ever!  I went home wishing I had a little baby to love on since mine has been growing like a weed since day one.

I have felt so blessed to be a part of this special time of life for these families!

Here's Baby W.

The Twins.

And squishy Baby J.

I love this last one we got!  Mom wanted a cute picture of all the kiddos, but two of the older ones were sick sick.  So in order to keep Baby safe from germs, we decided a cute foot picture would do for right then.  We caught up later and took some great kiddo pics that I'll have to blog.  I thought it was so funny how we had to resort to phones to get them to sit still for a couple seconds.
We had tried everything!
